1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(I) That for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing/commanding the Respondents Authority to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion from the post of Revenue Office-cumKanongo in pursuance of the circular/ guideline issued by the Govt. of Bihar and also pay the differential amount of salary in prescribed pay scale.

(II) For further directing to the Respondents to grant promotion as per the Govt. Circulars and also grant the benefits of A.C.Ps to the petitioner from

Patna High Court CWJC No.1650 of 2024(2) dt.29-02-2024 2/2 due date and also pay the consequential benefits."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Gaya for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, by the petitioner, before the District Magistrate, Gaya, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
