Patna High Court CWJC No.13801 of 2018(5) dt.21-11-2019 2/3 21-11-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents.
Petitioner has prayed for the following relief:- "For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities to make payment of the benefit of retired employees of Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur pursuant to the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No. 516 of 2013 (State of Bihar and another Vs. Sunny Prakash and others) as also in Contempt Petition (C) No. 262 of 2013 (Bihar State University and College Employees Federation Vs. Ashok Kumar Sinha and others), whereby and whereunder the Hon'ble Supreme Court directed the Registrars of all the concerned Universities to whom funds have been released by State Government, for disbursement of arrears of pay on account of revision of pay scales, to ensure disbursement to the employees who are entitled to the same within six weeks from today."
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the writpetitioner shall approach the respondent-authorities by filing a representation highlighting the grievances made in the present petition. This, he states, shall be positively done within a period of four weeks.
Patna High Court CWJC No.13801 of 2018(5) dt.21-11-2019 3/3 Learned counsel for the respondents states that on receipt of such representation, appropriate action shall positively be taken and the representation shall be disposed of within a period of three months thereafter.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Court, if the need so arises.
