Petitioner seeks bail in Saharghat P.S. Case No.31 of 2019 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the IPC and under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. On the basis of disclosure made by Aghori Ram, the house of the petitioner was searched. 10 litres of liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner and two motorcycles were also found parked in front of the house of the petitioner. On search, 21 litres and 39 litres of liquor was recovered from both motorcycles. Altogether 70 litres of liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner and for that the petitioner is in jail since 04.09.2019. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than two and half months. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

II-cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani in connection with Saharghat P.S. Case No.31 of 2019.
