2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 376B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4, 6, 8 of the POCSO Act.

3. Petitioner along with other accused persons are said to have kidnapped the minor daughter of the informant who is aged about 7 years.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that the doctor has opined the age of victim between 13 to 14 years and also opined that there is no sign of sexual assault. He further submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para-3 of the bail application.

5. Learned APP for the State and opposite party no. 2 oppose the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the nature of offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 20 of 2024.
