2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 384, 387, 120(B) and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The case of the prosecution is that one Rahul has made a call on the mobile of the informant demanding rangdari. The call was made twice but no rangdari was paid.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the name of this petitioner has surfaced in the confessional statement of one Rahul Sahni. It has also been submitted that the petitioner is having criminal antecedent of five cases and from perusal of his

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83616 of 2025(2) dt.11-12-2025 2/2 antecedent, it is clear that in a very planned manner, he has been implicated in Motihari Muffasil P.S. cases. He has further submitted that there is no allegation against him because neither he has made call nor he his mobile was used. It has also been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that other coaccused has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 25.09.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 69369 of 2025. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 02.04.2025.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Motihari Muffasil P.S. Case No. 277 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class, Motihari, East Champaran.
