Mr. Ashok Kumar Pathak, AC to GP-21 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE NANI TAGIA ORAL ORDER 30-07-2025 This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of order dated 05.03.2019, passed in C.W.J.C. No. 3973 of 2019.

2. The writ petition pertains to grant of 3rd MACP to the petitioner, which was disposed off by directing the petitioner to file a representation before the Director of Agriculture, Bihar, Patna, who, on receipt of such representation, was to dispose off the same by a reasoned order within a period of four weeks.

3. Opposite party no. 1/ the Director of Agriculture, Bihar, Patna has filed a show cause, wherein, it has been stated that in compliance of the order passed in the writ petition, for

Patna High Court MJC No.4806 of 2019(5) dt.30-07-2025 2/2 grant of 3rd MACP to the petitioner, a departmental screening committee was constituted, who examined the claim of the petitioner and on examination thereof, it was found that the petitioner has not passed required departmental examination essential for grant of 3rd MACP and accordingly, on the basis thereof, the Director, Agriculture, Bihar, Patna vide memo no. 243, dated 12.03.2020 has rejected the claim of the petitioner for grant of 3rd MACP. A copy of the order dated 12.03.2020, passed vide memo no. 243, by the Director, Agriculture, Bihar, Patna has also been brought on record as Annexure-A to the show cause.

4. Under the circumstances, I find that the order passed in the writ petition has been complied with by the opposite parties.

5. In view of the above, the contempt petition stands closed and disposed off.
