2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kusheshwar Asthan P.S. Case No. 207/2022 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 120(B) of I.P.C. and Section 27 of Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, Indal Yadav was killed by unknown criminals. During investigation the police has recovered the pistol used in the crime on the confessional statement of Mithilesh Yadav who has named the petitioner in his self inculpatory statement.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the case. Learned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.88980 of 2025(3) dt.24-03-2026 2/2 counsel next submits that co-accused namely, Shankar Paswan and Mahendra Paswan has been granted bail by this Court in Cr. Misc. Nos. 12848/2025 and 60200/2025. Learned counsel further submits that he has two criminal antecedents and he is in custody since 01.02.2025. The petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the case/ trial.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioner and the period of custody, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present.

7. Accordingly, this application stands dismissed with direction to the court below to expedite the trial, if it is being delayed by the prosecution.
