2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Muzaffarpur Town P.S. Case No. 1002 of 2023 registered on 11.12.2023 for the offenses punishable under Sections 419, 420, 406, 467, 468, 471, 120B of the Indian Penal Code as well as Section 66 of the I.T. Act.

3. As per the prosecution, the petitioner submitted forged certificates and, on the basis of such fraudulent documents, participated in the selection process and was appointed as an Anganbari Sevika. Subsequently, upon receiving

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2341 of 2025(3) dt.14-05-2025 2/2 information that she had used a fake mark sheet, her appointment was terminated. Pursuant to the direction of the Commissioner, the present F.I.R. has been lodged against her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. It is further submitted that the petitioner has clean antecedents with no criminal history. The allegations made in the F.I.R. are false and fabricated. The petitioner, being a woman, is willing to comply with any condition that may be imposed by the Court for the grant of bail.

5. Learned APP for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for bail.

6. In this background, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Muzaffarpur Town P.S. Case No. 1002 of 2023, pending before the learned CJM, Muzaffarpur is hereby rejected.
