This application for regular bail arises out of Bakhri P.S. Case No. 72 of 2018, disclosing offence punishable under Section 307 and other allied Sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

From the First Information Report, it is evident that some land dispute between the informant's family and the persons named in the FIR was there, leading to the alleged occurrence. It is alleged in the FIR that the petitioner was carrying a fire-arm and had shot at the informant's son. He, however, escaped the shot and did not receive any fire-arm injury. It is alleged against other accused persons of having assaulted the informant's son and mother-in-law variously with
