2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 211 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 337, 338, 224, 225, 307, 353, 420B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 11/7 of the Public Gambling Act.
3. Allegedly, on the tip off, the police raided the place of occurrence and found 150-200 persons involved in playing one number lottery. The police party arrested one person Md. Bablu and recovered some articles and in consequence thereof, 150-200 came there and started pelting stones on police party.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1268 of 2024(2) dt.31-01-2024 2/2 case. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner and on similar footing, some co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail in Cr. Misc. Nos. 59489 and 62604 of 2023.
5. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Gaya in connection with Kotwali P.S.
