The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Charka Pathar P.S. Case No. 72 of 2025, instituted for the offences punishable under sections 80(2), 238, 61(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The petitioner and others are said to have killed the sister of the informant on account of non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased and is aged about 79 years. He further submits that the petitioner is suffering from various ailments on account of his old age. The petitioner is having clean antecedent and he is in custody since 07.07.2025.

Learned APP for the State has vehemently

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.81892 of 2025(2) dt.22-12-2025 2/2 opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner. 6.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the age of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate- II, Jamui /concerned Court below in connection with Charka Pathar P.S. Case No.72 of 2025.
