Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406,420 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant had allegedly paid money in cash to the petitioner for getting backdoor entry on public post. Submission is that the informant was himself indulged in illegal activity as stated in the FIR. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 25.08.2019. Investigation of the case is already complete. There is no material to substantiate that the petitioner is going to abscond or is going to tamper with the evidence.

No.76911 of 2019(2) dt.13-01-2020 2/2 Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Town Police Station Case No.499 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below as well as petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the Court and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
