2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by way of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondent authorities for registration of FIR. He further submits that the FIR has already been registered in this case and the present writ application has become infructuous and the same may be permitted to be withdrawn.
