The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Piprahi P.S. Case No. 156/2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged recoveries were from a plastic bag lying in the paddy field and the allegation against him is that he was seen fleeing from the place of occurrence. It is further submitted that the entire prosecution is based on suspicion and that the petitioner has no criminal history.

In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named be released on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79581 of 2019(3) dt.10-12-2019 2/2 bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Sheohar, in connection with Piprahi P.S.
