Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to pass necessary order for allotment of land to the petitioner for rehabilitation in lieu of the acquisition of his land bearing Khesra No.61, Khata No.03, Revenue P.S. No.192, Mauza-Baghi, Post- Saduri Karma, P.S.- Barun, DistrictAurangabad.

3. Learned Senior Counsel further submits that the amount for rehabilitation is still due and in this regard, the

Patna High Court CWJC No.17258 of 2018(2) dt.11-02-2025 2/2 petitioner has filed his representation before the District Magistrate on 11.07.2017 vide Annexure-7 & 7/A of the writ petition, but till date, no decision has been taken.

4. Counsel for the State submits that since representation is pending, therefore, necessary direction may be given.

5. In this background, the present writ petition is hereby disposed off directing the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the District Magistrate for grant of his relief and payment of amount of rehabilitation within 30 days from today and the District Magistrate, upon hearing the petitioner and verifying the records, shall pass a reasoned and speaking order within 90 days from the date of production of this order.

6. With the aforesaid directions and observations, this writ petition stands disposed off.
