The petitioner has filed the present application for grant of pre-arrest bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 175 of 2018 in which cognizance has been taken under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
Despite valid service of notice, neither the O.P. No. 2 has appeared in person nor has engaged any counsel to represent her case.
Considering the nature of allegation, the plea of innocence taken in the petition and the submissions advanced at
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75696 of 2019(3) dt.17-06-2020 2/2 the bar, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Banka in connection with Complaint Case No. 175 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438
(2) of the Cr.P.C.
