In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 521 of 2019 registered for offences under sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per allegation, 60.930 liters of foreign wine has been recovered from the house of one Ramchandra Sharma who has taken the name of the present petitioner. Looking to the quantity of wine recovered as also the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
