The instant writ petition has been filed for a direction to the concerned authorities for withdrawing the electricity bill dated 06.06.2018 to the tune of Rs. 4,31,335/-. The petitioner also prays that the connection be transferred in the name of the petitioner i.e., Ranju Devi wife of Suresh Kumar. At the outset, learned counsel appearing for the Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited has stated that the matter

Patna High Court CWJC No.16343 of 2018(3) dt.20-04-2022 2/2 has been examined by the concerned authority and the amount of bill has been reduced to Rs. 3,78,240/-.

In view of the above, we feel that no further direction needs to be issued by this Court. However, if the petitioner still has any grouse, she is at liberty to move an application before the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (hereinafter refereed to as the 'CGRF') of the Company. The petitioner has brought to the notice of the Court that she is without any electric connection at the moment. We permit her to make an application before the CGRF for temporary connection, if there is any provision to this effect in the Act/Rules.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
