This is the second attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of regular bail in connection with Bhabhua P.S. Case No.74 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under sections 85, 103, 238, 61(2) and 80 of the B.N.S., 2023. 3.

Earlier, the bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 07.05.2025 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No.28255 of 2025.

The accused persons including the petitioner are said to have killed the daughter of the informant for demand of dowry.

The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased and he is in custody since 04.02.2025.

It has been submitted by learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner that in the trial out of six witnesses, three witnesses have been examined but none of them have supported the prosecution case.

Though the allegation of demand of dowry and torture has been made against the petitioner but, considering the period of custody of the petitioner, who is a lady and also considering the submission made on behalf of the petitioner, this bail application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, II, Kaimur at Bhabhua / concerned Court below, in connection with Bhabhua P.S. Case No.74 of 2025.
