JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 15-12-2025 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has converted the instant revision petition into a criminal appeal as objection has been raised during stamp reporting that an appeal was to be filed under Section 101 (5) of JJ Act, 2015.

2. However, office has placed this matter before this Court since the permission of the Court is required for conversion of the revision petition into appeal. If during stamp reporting, it came to the notice of the office that an appeal was to be filed and consequently the revision petitioner converted his revision petition into an appeal and if the matter is not travelled to this Court till that time, the matter should have been straightway placed before the Roster Bench instead of placing the same before this Court. In any case, the conversion of the revision into appeal is allowed.
