Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable Section 30(A) Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From the motorcycle of the petitioners, 18 liters of Nepali liquor was recovered. Petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent. They are in custody since 19.10.2019. Investigation of the case is already complete. Submission is that there is no other material against the petitioners and they are not going to abscond in this case or tamper with the evidence.

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.76890 of 2019(2) dt.13-01-2020 2/2 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Case No.C2-660 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below as well as petitioners shall not leave the country without permission of the Court and further the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
