JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 20-10-2020 The present petition has been taken up for consideration through the mode of Video Conferencing in view of the prevailing situation on account of COVID-19 Pandemic. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that most of the grievances of the petitioner has stood redressed, however the only subsisting grievance is regarding the petitioner having not been paid interest on the amount of Group Insurance @ 12.5% compound interest per annum, as has been paid to all other employees. It is also submitted that the arrears of pension for the period 01.10.2016 till February, 2020, on the basis of
Patna High Court CWJC No.16816 of 2018(6) dt.20-10-2020 2/2 revised pay scale is also required to be paid. Having regard to the limited grievance subsisting qua the petitioner herein, I deem it fit and appropriate to direct the Vice-Chancellor, L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga to consider the aforesaid grievances of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from today positively, failing which the Vice-Chancellor, L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga shall not draw his salary. It is further directed that in case, any amount is found outstanding and payable to the petitioner under the aforesaid head, the same shall be paid within a further period of four weeks of passing of the order, as aforesaid, by the Vice-Chancellor, L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga.
The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
