The petitioner is accused in connection with Sadar (Bhalpatti O.P.) P.S. Case No. 55 of 2019, registered under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga. The accusation is of killing of daughter of the informant along with her child by her husband and in laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits admittedly, petitioner is the husband of the deceased, daughter of the informant and she committed suicide along with her child

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.76923 of 2019(2) dt.18-12-2019 2/2 due to her short temperament and petitioner is in custody since 19.03.2019.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of bail stands rejected.
