2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 342, 376 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Petitioner is said to have established physical relation with the informant on the pretext of marriage.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that the age of the informant is 25 years and she has developed the friendship with the petitioner on her own sweet will. He submits that occurrence took place on 13.10.2022 but the FIR has been lodged on 11.07.2024 after delay of 22 months without explaining any reasonable cause of delay. He submits that the petitioner has already submitted a written

Malsalami P.S., Patna with a prayer to take legal ation against the group of cheater who is involved in cheating the innocent persons on 20.04.2024. He further submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para-3 of the bail application.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the nature of offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 429 of 2024.
