2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 179 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition Excise Amendment Act-2022 and Section 414, 467, 468, 420, 120(B) read with Section-34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation, in course of checking the vehicle, the police party found one four wheeler coming speedily which was indicated to stop but the said vehicle was not stopped. On chase, one person was apprehended and 720 liters of country made liquor was recovered from the alleged vehicle. Thereafter, the apprehended person disclosed that the persons, who fled away, are wine trader and doing business of illegal liquor.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing was recovered from his conscious possession and the petitioner has no concern with the alleged vehicle or liquor. The petitioner was not arrested at the spot. The petitioner has four criminal antecedents of similar nature.

5. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is involved in four other cases of similar nature, I do not think it to be a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail, which is hereby rejected. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) Nirmal/- U T
