2. This is an application for regular bail on behalf of the petitioner for the offences alleged under Sections 103(1), 238, 3(5) of the BNS registered in connection with Majhauliya P.S.Case No. 484 of 2024.

3. Allegedly, a slit dead body of an unknown women was found lying in a plastic bag near the canal and later, it came to light that it was the dead body of the daughter of the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He has further submitted that as a matter of fact, the deceased Sita Kumari had love and affection with one Arjun Kumar and his father, the petitioner had arranged her marriage with Sandeep Kumar, due to this reason, she was not happy and she committed suicide in the house of Krishna Sah,

In his statement recorded under Section 180 of the BNSS, the petitioner has categorically stated that as a matter of fact, the marriage of the deceased was fixed with one Sandeep Kumar whereas she had love and affection with Arjun Kumar and that is why, she was not happy with her proposed marriage, as a result of which, she committed suicide in the house of Krishna Sah, the brother of the petitioner. The petitioner is a person of clean antecedent and is under custody since 31.07.2024.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No. 484 of 2024, subject to the following conditions that the petitioners shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make themselves available as and when required by the court.
