Petitioner is accused in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case No. 437 of 2019 registered under Sections 498A of the I.P.C. and 4 of the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case due to ulterior motive. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. It is also submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 14.09.2019.
