Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 414 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Three person were arrested from a four wheeler on which huge quantity of liquor was being carried on. Two of the arrested person have already been allowed bail on 12.12.2019 in Cr. Misc. No. 82307 of 2019 when they were in custody since 22.10.2019 by a Coordinate Bench of this Court. Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82447 of 2019(2) dt.17-12-2019 2/2 bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Ramgarh Police Station Case No.256 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
