2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Jehanabad (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 18 of 2023 dated 27.06.2023, instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 312, 506, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have tortured the informant mentally and physically due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and she has been falsely implicated in this

The allegation levelled against her is false and concocted. Only on the basis of suspicion she has been made accused in this case. It is further submitted that father-in-law and mother-in-law of the informant have been granted bail vide order dated 21.12.2023 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 76792 of 2023 by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Lastly, it has been submitted that she has no criminal antecedents.

5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

6. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest / surrender of the petitioner in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 18 of 2023, she shall be released on anticipatory bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Jehanabad, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C..
