The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition seeking a direction upon the respondent Power Holding Company to ensure the payment of arrears of overtime amount from July, 2018 to December, 2021. The grievance of the petitioner is restricted to the extent that despite he discharged the overtime duty for the period July, 2018 to December, 2021, he has not been allowed the overtime amount, compelling him

3. Learned Advocate for the Power Holding Company Limited prays for a short adjournment to seek instruction and ensure filing of the counter affidavit.

4. Having gone through the averments made in the writ petition, this Court does not find that before approaching this Court, the petitioner has ever approached before the concerned authorities with his grievance.

5. Considering the restricted grievance of the petitioner, this Court deems it proper to dispose off the writ petition with a liberty to the petitioner to approach before the respondent no. 3 by fling an appropriate representation with the same prayer as raised before this Court. In case, such a representation is filed, preferably within a period of four weeks' from today, the concerned respondent authorities shall be obliged to pass a reasoned and speaking order. In case, the claim of the petitioner finds favour, necessary consequential payment shall be made within a further period of eight weeks, thereafter.

6. The writ petition stands disposed off.
