2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief(s) :
"a) For direction to the respondents particularly respondent no. 1 to 3 to modify and revise the list of the educational institutes contained in letter no. B1-3145/2025-4010 dated 29/09/2025 and letter по. В1-3-
Patna High Court CWJC No.18873 of 2025(2) dt.21-11-2025 2/3 145/2025-4945 dated 23/10/2025 so that the teachers who are not appointed for teaching and are not teaching at the level of secondary school and above (i.e. Class 9th and above) for at least past three years in and madarsa, shall not be added in the voter list / electoral roll of the Saran Teachers Constituency since such teachers are not eligible to become a voter in a Teachers Constituency for the election to State Legislative Assembly.Counal b) For direction to the Election Registration Officer, Saran Teachers Constituency cum Divisional Commissioner, Saran, Chapra and other respondents to exclude the teachers who are not appointed for teaching and are not teaching at the level of secondary school and above (i.e. Class 9th and above) for at least past three years in the educational institutions and madarsa from the voter list / electoral roll of the Saran Teachers Constituency c) For any other relief(s) which the petitioner may be formed entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the case."
3. Without going into the merits or demerits of this case, the present Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of all the counsels.
4. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner has
Patna High Court CWJC No.18873 of 2025(2) dt.21-11-2025 3/3 already ventilated his grievance by way of representation dated 18.10.2025 (Annxure P/6) before the Respondent No. 5, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 5 to consider the said representation and pass a reasoned order strictly in accordance with law. The authority before passing any orders shall put the petitioner on notice and give him an opportunity of hearing. The authority shall endeavour to dispose of the said representation as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks from today. Any orders passed shall be communicated to the parties.
5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
