Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Dhobaha P.S. Case No.72 of 2024, registered for the offence punishable u/s 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

Altogether, 22.08 liters of illicit country made liquor is said to be recovered from the courtyard adjacent to the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has not committed any offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail on his behalf is hereby rejected.
