The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to Respondents No. 2, 3 and 4 for making payment of the insurance amount for the vehicle which was insured by the respondents and which has been stolen, for which an F.I.R. has already been lodged. However, from the perusal of the records, it appears that the payment of the insurance amount has not

Patna High Court CWJC No.1609 of 2020 dt.18-02-2020 2/2 been made because of the petitioner not having furnished the driving-license of one Satyendra Singh.

This writ petition, therefore, stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to furnish all the requisite documents as desired from him by the Insurance Company within a period of three weeks; whereafter the concerned respondents shall look into the matter and if the vehicle is found to be within the cover of the insurance, necessary order be passed regarding payment of the insurance amount.

Needless to state that any payment would be made only after verifying all the facts including whether the insurance cover of the said vehicle existed at the time when the vehicle was stolen.

With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed of.
