The petitioner admittedly has passed the qualification from Dr. Ambedkar Hindi Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Jokiya, Begusarai which was not a recognised qualification for appointment as a teacher. His appointment was therefore cancelled vide order dated 13.01.2018. The petitioner has challenged the appointment stating that subsequently the qualification has been recognised.

In the opinion of this Court, the subsequent

Patna High Court CWJC No.17360 of 2018(2) dt.19-09-2022 2/2 qualification from a later date would not give the petitioner any right of claiming appointment as on the date when the appointments were made the petitioner was holding a qualification which was not recognised by the State. Keeping in view thereto, no interference is warranted in the order of cancellation of appointment.

The writ petition is devoid of merit and is accordingly dismissed.
