The petitioner seeks bail in Shastri Nagar P.S. Case No.742 of 2019, registered under Sections 356, 379, 511 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The gist of the allegation is that while the informant was returning to his house after withdrawing Rs.1,50,000/- from bank, the petitioner and his accomplice made an abortive attempt to snatch the money from possession of the informant, but on alarm police came and apprehended the petitioner on the spot. However, the accomplice of the petitioner managed to flee away.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that some dispute occurred due to parking of motorcycle. The petitioner has remained in jail for about six months for an attempt to

Taking into consideration the facts and nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has remained in jail for about six months, having no criminal antecedent, for an attempt to snatch money from the informant, the petitioner, namely, Ram Kumar Yadav is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Judge-IV-cum-ACJM, Patna in connection with Shastri Nagar P.S. Case No.742 of 2019, subject to the condition that one of the bailors shall be locals having substantial immovable properties.
