The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with K.Hat (Sahayak) P.S.Case No.531 of 2019 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-B)a, 25(i)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

The allegation is regarding the petitioner having been arrested by the police and upon search one double barrel gun and three live cartridges are said to have been recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, he is security guard in the LIC Office, Purnea and is having a clean antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 27.07.2019.

No.76249 of 2019(2) dt.26-11-2019 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances, I deem it fit and proper to direct the release of petitioner on regular bail immediately upon completion of six months in custody, i.e., with effect from 27.07.2019 and subject to such condition as may be deemed fit and proper to be imposed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with K.Hat (Sahayak) P.S.Case No.531 of 2019.

The present petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
