The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Amba P.S. Case No. 35 of 2019 for the offence registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 340 litres of illicit liquor from a Bolero vehicle of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and he is having a clean antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 23.10.2019.
