2. The petitioners are seeking regular bail in connection with Salkhua P.S. Case No. 219 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2022.

3. Allegedly, 114.5 liters cough syrup was recovered from joint house of the petitioners.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. He has further submitted that they are the persons of clean antecedents and the house from which, cough syrup is alleged to have been recovered, is a joint house

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.86408 of 2024(3) dt.09-04-2025 2/2 of the petitioners. They are under custody since 23.09.2024.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, especially the clean antecedents of the petitioners, let the petitioners above-named, are directed to furnish bail bond and on doing so, the court below shall release the petitioners on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special (Excise) Judge-II, Saharsa in connection with Salkhua P.S. Case No. 219 of 2024, subject to the following conditions that the petitioners shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make themselves available as and when required by the court.

6. Before release, the learned court below shall verify the criminal antecedents of the petitioners and if they are found involved in any case other than the present one, their bail bond shall not be accepted.
