2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief(s) :

"............. for issuance of an appropriate writ or writs for direction to the Respondents to pay the legal dues of the petitioner with interest for the quarterly maintenance of road completed by him under Bihar Rural Road Maintenance Policy, 2018 as per the terms and condition of the contract allotted to him in Muzaffarpur West, East-1 and East-2 Works Division under the agreement executed between the petitioner and respondents and/or to grant of any other

In the filed by the Respondents at paragraphs 14 and 15 it is specifically stated that the petitioner has been allotted the construction and maintenance work of total four roads under Package No. RM/MU/MUZ/19/0019 vide Agreement No. 76MBD/2019-20 under Works Division, Muzaffarpur East - 1 and the authorities sent a requisition to the Additional Chief Executive Officer-cum-Secretary, Bihar Rural Development Agency (BRRDA), Bihar, Patna, for making necessary allotment of the fund for making the payment to the petitioner under the New Maintenance Policy 2018. As soon as the allotment of funds are made the petitioner shall be paid the due amounts for the maintenance work done.

Having regard to the above stand made by the respondents the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to see that the amounts due to the petitioner are paid within a period of eights from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Respondent- Additional Chief Executive Officer-cum-Secretary shall see to it that the necessary funds are allotted so as to enable the authorities to make the payment to the petitioner.
