1. The Writ petition is filed for the following reliefs:

For issuance of an appropriate writ or writs directing the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner to continue his business of Public Distribution System under license No. 21/16 which has been attached with another dealer due to illness of the petitioner and/or to grant any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is legally entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case.

2. Heard the Learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CWJC No.23232 of 2019(4) dt.10-07-2026 2/3 petitioner as well as the Learned counsel for the respondents.

3. The contents of the Writ petition disclose that the petitioner was granted a license in the year 2007 and, due to his serious illness, he made an application before the licensing authority seeking leave for certain months. Subsequently, his shop was attached to another dealer. The Writ petition further disclose that petitioner again made an application before the authority on 11.10.2017 praying that he be permitted to run the business, but the same has been kept pending by the authority, and no action has been taken yet. Being aggrieved by the same, the present Writ petition was filed.

4. On perusal of Writ petition, it is evident that the P.D.S. shop was attached to another dealer way back in the year 2011, and there is no impugned order in the present matter. The said action was taken at the instance of the petitioner himself. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh application before the concerned

Patna High Court CWJC No.23232 of 2019(4) dt.10-07-2026 3/3 authority and, the concerned authority shall consider the same as and when a vacancy arises.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the Writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Interlocutory application, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
