JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER 05-06-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State through Virtual Court proceeding. In the present case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Adapur P.S. Case No.238 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304 (B), 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegedly, the daughter of the informant had been killed by burn injury by the accused persons including the petitioner due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in judicial custody since 25.08.2018.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3876 of 2020(4) dt.05-06-2020 2/2 Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, this Court directs the court below to expedite the trial.
