2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in Jokihat P.S. Case No. 329 of 2024 registered under Sections 420, 409 of the IPC.
3. As per the prosecution story, the petitioner is said to have transferred Rs. 1,40,110/- (one lakh forty thousand one hundred and ten rupees) from 14 account holders after using ID of the Bank Manager.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.87546 of 2024(6) dt.09-10-2025 2/2 petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. He has further submitted that the petitioner is a part-time sweeper in the bank and he has returned the money in the account of the account holders of the Bank except the two account holders.
5. Learned APP, Mr. J.N. Thakur has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail by submitting that the petitioner, accessing the computer of the Bank, transferred the aforesaid amount from the account holders to his own account. He has further submitted that some of the account holders, from whose account the money was withdrawn, were dead.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioner does not deserve the privilege of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the bail application is rejected. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) priyanka/- U T
