2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Trial No.39/21 arising out of Jadopur P.S. Case No. 111 of 2021, lodged on 27.07.2021 under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(c) of the N.D.P.S.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 12.10.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No.61346 of 2021 granting liberty to the petitioner to move for bail after one year from the date of framing of charge. Counsel submits that one year has already been crossed. Counsel further submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is clean and he is in custody since 29.07.2021.

Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that on the previous occasion, a report for the present stage of the trial has been called for and from the said report, it transpires to this Court that the Trial Court seeks six months time for concluding the trial.

5. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Trial No.39/21 arising out of Jadopur P.S. Case No. 111 of 2021, pending before the learned Additional District Judge-1st, Gopalganj is hereby rejected at present.
