The petitioner is said to have passed Class 10th and 12th Examinations, held by the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), in the years 2007 and 2009 respectively. The difficulty which he is facing is that the certificates issued by the C.B.S.E. in respect of passing of the said Examinations, do

It is not the grievance of the petitioner that he had mentioned surname at any point of time which is missing in the certificates, rather it is his plea that he is facing practical difficulty in the absence of surname. In that view of the matter, this writ application has been filed, seeking direction to the respondent-C.B.S.E. to add surname 'Rajvansh' after his name 'Shubham' as mentioned in the certificates/documents. Reliance has been placed on previous orders passed by this Court in various cases, including the order dated 15.05.2018, passed in C.W.JC No. 9632 of 2018 (Ankur @ Ankur Kumar Singh Vs. The Central Board of Secondary Education and Ors.).

Considering the facts and circumstances and the nature of order passed in case of Ankur @ Ankur Kumar Singh Vs. The Central Board of Secondary Education (supra), this application is disposed of with an observation that if the petitioner again approaches the Regional Director, Central Board of Secondary Education, Regional Office, Allahabad, alongwith a fresh representation, enclosing the orders passed by this Court in cases of Priyansh Vs. The Chairman, through the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and Ors.

Patna High Court CWJC No.18861 of 2018(2) dt.18-09-2018 3/3 and Shreya Vs. Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, through its Chairman) and the present order, the Regional Director shall act accordingly in terms of the directions issued in the aforesaid cases.

This application stands disposed of.
