2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Begusarai Muffasil P.S. Case No. 64/2021 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 409, 420, 120(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner along with other accused persons misappropriated government money amounting to Rs. 74,341.90/- under the MANREGA Scheme.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. Learned counsel further submits that the alleged amount has been deposited in the S.B.I. on 25.02.2022 and other similarly
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83343 of 2025(2) dt.03-12-2025 2/2 situated accused persons have also deposited the amount and have been granted anticipatory bail by different Benches of this Court. Petitioner is a man with a clean antecedent and he is in custody since 15.10.2025. The petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the case/ trial.
5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into account the fact that the defalcated amount has already been deposited and the period of custody of the petitioner, this application for regular bail is allowed.
7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial MagistrateIV, Begusarai/concerned Court below in connection with Begusarai Muffasil P.S. Case No. 64/2021.
