The petitioner seeks bail in Patahi P.S. Case No.84 of 2018 registered for offence punishable under Sections 356 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the co-accused including the petitioner is to have snatched Rs. 1,04,000/- and mobile from the informant. The name of the petitioner has come during investigation. The petitioner has long criminal history. Looking to the nature of allegation and antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present.

Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected. However, the court below is directed to conclude the
