The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273, 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30 (a), 35, 36 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2019.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 18.800 litres of country made liquor from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 12.09.2019 and has no criminal antecedent.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, on deposit of Rs.2,000/- in the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78042 of 2019(2) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-Cum-Special Judge Excise, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 173 of 2019.
