1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this writ application is being filed for writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions commanding respondents No.1, 2 & 3 to initiate proceedings against the respondent No.4 & 5 as they have illegally demolished the ancestral house of the petitioner situated on Khata No.58, Khesra No.407 & 408, Area-07 decimals at the Village- Basauli Narayan, P.S. Bochahan, District- Muzaffarpur. This application is further being filed for a direction to the respondent authorities to reconstruct the house of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.754 of 2024(2) dt.29-04-2024 2/2 petitioner and make a payment of the appropriate compensation to himself (Petitioner)."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands dismissed.
