Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner continues to be posted as a Panchayat Secretary in Block - Gopalpur for the last six years. It is the submission of the petitioner's counsel that the petitioner has an 82 years old ailing mother and, as such, he had made application before the District Magistrate, Bhagalpur praying that he may be given posting either at his Home Block which is at Sultanganj or nearby place.

The claim of the petitioner is not on the basis of any right to seek such a posting at his Home Block or near his home.

No legal enforceable claim is made out in the instant writ petition.

Writ petition is devoid of merit and the same is disposed of.
