The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Dhanarua P.S. Case No.301 of 2019 registered for the offence under Sections 412, 414 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. As per allegation in the FIR, name of the petitioner has figured on the confessional statement of co-accused Vikash @ Raja Kumar and Rupendra Kumar @ Upelu and there is recovery of one loaded country made Katta, Rs.1,53,255 and two motorcycles from possession of both the co-accused. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is quite innocent and he has committed no offence.

No.81170 of 2019(5) dt.25-10-2021 2/2 However, learned APP for the State vehementally opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has criminal antecedent and he has one similar case, i.e. Malsalami P.S. Case No.284 of 2019 under Section 395 of the IPC. In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
